Philippe Micaelli has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Philippe started their career as a Fundraising Director at Réunion des Musées Nationaux - Grand Palais in 1986 and then worked as a Derivative Markets Stockbroker at various companies from 1989 to 1997. In 1997, they co-founded Finamer Consulting, where they served as the CEO and developed an in-house methodology for creating new markets based on financial market principles for non-financial items. Philippe also contributed to the writing of a book on financial crime. Philippe then co-founded EUROTRADING CAPITAL MARKETS in 1998, where they were involved in partnership management, software trading, and negotiated an IPO. The company was eventually sold to Fortuneo. In 2000, they co-founded Crédit Agricole Alternative and served as the General Manager until 2003. In 2003, Philippe co-founded Item Centric, where they served as the CEO and developed a secured encrypted cloud system to prevent identity fraud and document theft. In 2011, they joined Qwant as a Project Manager in Research and Development, focusing on cryptography and data center implementation. In 2013, Philippe joined ACTED as the Worldwide Security & Safety Team Leader, responsible for implementing safety protocols and analyzing geo-political situations. In 2016, they rejoined Qwant as the Director of Business Development and Partnership, successfully increasing audience and revenue through complex national and international partnerships.

From 1981 to 1985, Philippe Micaelli studied at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and earned a Master's degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics.
