Henrik Thiele has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2001, they co-founded and worked as a Partner at TWS Partners AG until 2005. From 2007 to 2011, they served as the Managing Director at Knorr-Bremse, Merak. Following that, they joined Knorr-Bremse Asia Pacific Holding as an Executive Board Member from 2011 to 2015. In 2015, Thiele took a sabbatical leave before becoming the Managing Director at Blue Whale Capital Ltd. in the same year. Currently, they are the Co-founder and Managing Director at Qwello, a company specializing in developing a new way of charging electric vehicles in urban areas.
Henrik Thiele has a diverse education history. In 1989, they began their undergraduate studies in Economics at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, which they completed in 1992. Afterward, they pursued a Master's degree in Economics at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), which they obtained in 1995. Continuing their academic journey, they joined Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München once again and pursued a Ph.D. in Game Theory from 1996 to 2000. Lastly, in 2015, they attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business for an Executive Education program focused on Executive Leadership Development.
