John Kaldas

John Kaldas has extensive work experience in the field of embedded software engineering. John started their career at Intel Corporation in 2013, where they worked as a Software Engineer on the implementation of LTE protocol stack for user equipment. John was responsible for development in the "Radio Resource control" layer of Intel's LTE modem.

In 2014, John joined Axxcelera Egypt Broadband Wireless as an Embedded Software Engineer. Here, they worked on the implementation of the LTE-Advanced protocol stack for eNodeB. John had ownership of the RRC and OAM layers and developed the intra-eNodeB handover feature.

After that, John worked as a Trainer at EmbeddedFab, AMIT, and the Faculty of Engineering at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport. John was responsible for delivering training on embedded systems to groups of up to 15 engineers.

Following their training role, John joined Mentor Graphics as an Embedded Software Engineer in 2015. Here, they supported virtual platforms in CB-VE by developing bare-metal applications.

In 2016, John joined BLOKS GmbH as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer. John worked on a project involving the integration system for electric bikes. John'sresponsibilities included developing firmware for embedded components, analyzing and fixing bugs, and taking on a new project.
