Shawn Chin

Shawn Chin has worked in various roles since 2001. Shawn began as an Intern at I.Star Sdn. Bhd in 2001, then worked as a Software Development Engineer at Open Source Systems Sdn. Bhd. from 2002 to 2006. Shawn then worked as a Computational Scientist at STFC from 2006 to 2013. From 2013 to 2018, they worked as a Vice President and Assistant Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In 2018, they became a Vice President at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Lead Backend Developer at Qwil Messenger in 2019.

Shawn Chin obtained their MSc. in High Performance Computing (with Distinction) from The University of Edinburgh in 2006. Shawn also obtained their BEng (Hons) in Electronics majoring in Multimedia Systems from Multimedia University in 2002.
