Rachel Thomas

Rachel Thomas has over 20 years of experience in various leadership and management roles. Rachel is currently the Chief People Officer at QX Global Group, where they oversee all aspects of the employee experience and implements strategies to build and retain an exceptional team. Prior to that, they served as the SVP Employee Experience at the same company, managing functions such as recruitment, learning and development, employee engagement, and diversity and belonging. Rachel also founded Room to Think Ltd, a consultancy focused on inspiring and empowering organizations through memorable learning and development experiences. Rachel has worked with a wide range of organizations across different sectors and countries. Earlier in their career, Rachel held marketing and brand management positions at Arla Foods and Iceland Foods, where they successfully developed and launched new brand ranges and managed various categories.

Rachel Thomas has a diverse education history. Rachel started their tertiary education at the University of Wales, Cardiff, where they pursued a HND in Business & Finance with a focus on business studies. Rachel then attended Wrexham University from 1992 to 1994, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.

In 2007 and 2008, Rachel attended The Coaching Academy, where they completed a Diploma in corporate coaching and also gained knowledge in neuro-linguistic programming with a specialization in Business Administration and Management.

Continuing their commitment to professional growth, Rachel enrolled at the MBTI Business Training Institute in 2009 to study MBTI personality type in relation to Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration.

In 2010, Rachel further developed their expertise by attending the Psychological Consultancy Ltd, where they obtained a certification as an Emotional Intelligence Practitioner, focusing on Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration.
