Ziad Hatab has a diverse range of work experience in various engineering roles. Ziad'smost recent experience includes working as a Senior Design Project engineer at Drexel University, where they designed and implemented a self-driving RC car using advanced technologies and collaborated with a team to ensure its successful execution. Prior to that, Ziad worked as an Accident Reconstruction Co-op at ARCCA, providing support in analyzing accidents. Ziad also served as a Technical Trainer at West African Vehicle Academy (WAVA), where they trained professionals in automotive technology and conducted diagnostic and repair tasks. Ziad has also worked as an R&D Co-op at PECO, conducting research on electromagnetic pulse and overseeing projects. Additionally, they worked as a Lead Data Analyst at Nsesa Foundation and was involved in compiling and analyzing data for an online programming course. Ziad has also gained research experience in advanced manufacturing and drones in engineering applications as an Undergraduate Researcher at Drexel University's Vertically Integrated Projects. Prior to pursuing their education, Ziad worked as an Engineer's Apprentice at Mamoya Enterprise, where they gained hands-on experience in car repair, car bodywork, and machinery installations.

Ziad Hatab started their education at Mfantsipim School, where they completed their WASSCE degree in General Science from 2014 to 2017. Ziad then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Drexel University from 2018 to 2023. In addition to their formal education, Ziad obtained a certification as an sUAS Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration in May 2022.
