Brian Willis began their work experience in 2010 as a Sales Associate at Curry Ace Hardware, where they assembled products, monitored inventory, and assisted customers with their selections. In 2013, they interned at MBTA, surveying decals, assisting with railcar inspections, and attending meetings on vehicle overhaul projects. The following year, they continued their internship at MBTA as a Vehicle Maintenance Engineering Intern, utilizing SolidWorks to create dimensioned drawings and overseeing the fabrication of brackets for railcar operator cabs. In 2015, they joined EM Duggan as an Assistant Fire Protection Designer, collaborating with designers and using 3D CAD software (AutoSPRINK) to design fire protection systems for high-rise buildings. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Johnson Controls in multiple roles, including Project Engineer, Project Manager, and Controls Systems Designer. During this time, they were responsible for various tasks such as hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, and project execution. Currently, Brian works as a Mechanical Engineer at Vanderweil Engineers, starting in 2022.

Brian Willis completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Roger Williams University from 2011 to 2015. Brian then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Engineering Management from Clarkson University from 2018 to 2020.
