Anna Tomaselli

Anna Tomaselli is an experienced professional in the field of microbiology, currently serving as the Microbiology Team Lead at R.I. Analytical Laboratories, Inc. since September 2022. Previously, Anna held roles at the URI Foundation & Alumni Engagement, contributing as a Program Assistant and a Student Office Assistant, where responsibilities included event coordination and database management. Anna also gained research experience as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Rhode Island, focusing on antimicrobial peptides, and served as a Summer Camp Counselor at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, teaching vital outdoor skills. Early career experience includes an internship at Danone, where Anna conducted laboratory testing related to yogurt production. Anna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Rhode Island.
