Azeez Sulaiman Babatunde

AZEEZ Sulaiman Babatunde has a diverse work experience in the field of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE). AZEEZ is currently employed as the Head of HSE/Facilities Management and Group Sustainability Champion at R-Jolad Hospital since November 2020. Prior to that, they worked as an HSSE Supervisor at Shapoorji Pallonji Group from January 2019 to November 2020. AZEEZ also served as a Safety Officer at Slava Bogu Nigeria Ltd for the period of March 2018 to November 2018. Earlier in their career, they held the position of HSE Officer at Sparklight Construction from June 2017 to January 2018, where they were responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous situations, implementing safety plans, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. AZEEZ also gained experience as an Intern at Safety Advocacy from January 2017 to June 2017. From December 2014 to January 2017, they worked as a Supervisor at Moslife Pharmaceutical Service Limited.

AZEEZ Sulaiman Babatunde completed a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Olabisi Onabanjo University between 2008 and 2012. Additionally, they obtained a credit in IGC 1,2,3 from NEBOSH in 2020 and achieved a Level 3 certification in Health, Safety, and Environment from the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria.

Furthermore, AZEEZ Sulaiman Babatunde has earned multiple certifications including Introduction to Risk Management from Corporate Finance Institute in October 2023, ALP - Sustainability from IFC - International Finance Corporation in August 2022, and a Certificate in Foundations of Healthcare Quality Management from IFC - International Finance Corporation in August 2022. AZEEZ also completed various other certifications such as Improving Effective Communication in Healthcare, Sustainability Training and E-Learning Program (STEP), Facility Management Diploma (FMD) certificate, Managing Environmental and Social Performance - SP, Introduction to ESG, Accident Reporting Awareness certificate, COSHH Risk Assessor certification, DSE Workstation Risk assessment, Certificate in CPR, AED and First Aid, and NEBOSH IGC.
