Nithya Somasundaram

Nithya Somasundaram is an experienced Advocate and Patent Agent at R K Dewan & Co since February 2009, specializing in Intellectual Property Rights, particularly in the fields of Trade Marks, Patents, and Copyrights. Nithya's expertise encompasses filing, prosecution, searches, cancellation of Trade Marks, and design protection, with appearances before the Trade Marks Registry, Patent Office, Intellectual Property Appellate Board, and Madras High Court. In addition, Nithya is involved in general consultation on IPR, litigation, and the organization of seminars and workshops. As of January 2024, Nithya serves as a member of the INTA Brand and Innovation Committee.
