Amy (MacPhetres) Jenkinson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Amy started their career in 1993 as an Aviation Planner at HNTB, where they worked on various master plans for airports. In 1997, they joined Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport as a Terminal Planning Manager, responsible for terminal and support facility planning projects. Amy then worked at Jacobs Engineering as a Senior Aviation Planner, managing the expansion and renovation of the Nantucket Memorial Airport Terminal.
In 2006, they transitioned to Jacobs Consultancy as a Senior Consultant, where they managed forecasting, terminal and financial tasks for airport master plan updates. Amy also served as Interim Director of Properties, Planning, and Development for the Little Rock National Airport.
In 2011, they joined R.M. Chin & Associates as a Sr. Project Manager, specializing in design and construction oversight of tenant facility projects at O'Hare International Airport. Amy later took on additional roles within the company, including Managing Director for ORD and MDW Owner's Representative Contract and Program Manager for the DFW Integrated Operations Center.
In 2018, they became the Director of Aviation at RM Chin & Associates and continued to contribute to the company's projects until July 2023. In June 2023, they were promoted to the position of Vice President - Aviation at R.M. Chin & Associates, where they currently hold a leadership role.
Throughout their career, Amy has demonstrated expertise in aviation planning, project management, design and construction oversight, and team leadership.
Amy (MacPhetres) Jenkinson earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aeronautics from Florida Institute of Technology. Amy attended the institute from 1989 to 1993.
