Mark Basta Eit

Mark Basta, EIT, currently serves as the Head Soccer Coach for U9s and U8s at Chicago Fire Youth Soccer Club since September 2021, while also holding the position of Engineer II at R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. since March 2022. Mark's previous engineering experience includes working as a Structural Designer at ATMI Precast, where responsibilities involved performing structural calculations and executing precast panel designs, and prior roles as a Structural Engineer I at Structural Enginuity, Inc. and a Project Structural Engineer at Pearl Engineering Corporation. Mark began their career as a Field Technician Intern at Seeco Consultants, Inc. and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago, complemented by education from The American University in Cairo and UMass Boston.
