Jon Yamaoka

Jon Yamaoka has a strong background in the finance industry, with a focus on municipal capital markets. Jon currently holds the position of Managing Director at R. Seelaus & Co., Inc., a role they have held since October 2018. Prior to this, they served as a Managing Director at Tribal Capital Markets, LLC from April 2017 to September 2018. Before that, they worked as a Municipal Trader at Intercoastal Capital Markets from March 2014 to April 2017, and as a Municipal Trader at R. Seelaus & Co., Inc. from February 2011 to February 2014. Jon also gained experience outside of the finance industry, working as a Consultant at Kinetic Partners from May 2010 to February 2011, and as an Associate at Huron Consulting Group from August 2007 to May 2010.

Jon Yamaoka earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Rutgers University, which they attended from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, they passed Level I of the CFA Program.
