Emily Temple, PhD has had extensive work experience in various roles. Emily started their career as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Advanced Teaching and Learning (IATL) in 2014. Emily then joined the University of Warwick as a Doctoral Student in Arts Education in 2013 and continued in the role of Ethnographer/Lead Research Associate from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, they became an Affiliated Faculty member at Emerson College until 2018. Emily then worked at Mascot Books as an Acquisitions Editor from 2019 to 2019 and later as a Senior Production Editor from 2019 to 2020. Most recently, they held positions at the R Street Institute, first as a Senior Editor from 2020 to 2021, and currently as the Director of Research Publications.
Emily Temple, PhD, completed their education in a chronological manner. Emily began their academic journey in 2006 at Pace University, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in BFA Acting and BA Women's and Gender Studies. Emily graduated from Pace University in 2010. Following this, they attended Emerson College from 2011 to 2013, earning a Master's Degree in Theatre Education. Their higher education path concluded at the University of Warwick, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Qualitative Research/Education from 2013 to 2018, and successfully obtained their PhD.
