Alan Chmiel

Alan Chmiel has held various engineering roles since 1996. Alan began their career as an Instrumentation Research Engineer at Sierra Lobo Inc. In 2001, they joined ZIN Technologies, Inc. as Lead Electrical Engineer and later became Vice President of Engineering and Senior Vice President of Engineering. In 2019, Chmiel began teaching as Adjunct Faculty in Data Analytics at Lorain County Community College. Most recently, they are the Director of Engineering at R.W. Beckett Corporation.

Alan Chmiel obtained a diploma from Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in Coraopolis, PA, from 1988 to 1992. Alan then completed a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering from 1992 to 1996. In 2016, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wyoming. In 2021, they attended the NEFI Energy Leaders Program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Certified Earned Value Management System - Cost Account Manager to EIA-748-C, HLS2X: Contract Law: From Trust to Promise to Contract, and Project Management Professional Certification.
