Angel Coronado Robles

Angel Coronado Robles has worked in the credit and collections field since 2013. Angel began their career at American Express as a Credit and Collections Specialist, where they were responsible for analysis and collection for personal credits in the Multimarket region, as well as managing a Premium customers portfolio and monitoring payment plans for overdue accounts. In 2014, they were promoted to Credit and Collections Supervisor, where they led a team of 25 analysts dedicated to reducing loss provision, enabling spend and preventing fraud in Mexico, Argentina, United States, and LATAM. Angel's responsibilities included ensuring their team met international compliance and regulations, as well as motivating and coaching their team to meet and improve KPIs related to productivity and recovery. Angel also served as Team Leader of a Back Office Credit Department, managing line of credit increases and complaints with National bank institutions from Spain and Argentina. In 2019, Angel moved to Creditea México, where they were Collection Manager. Angel led, managed, and designed the strategies for all collection activities for their portfolio in Mexico, which was composed of 120k customers. Angel was responsible for overseeing vendor management, including RFPs and contract negotiations, onboarding vendors, and creating servicing/collection strategies. Angel is currently Head of Collections at R2, a position they have held since 2022.

Angel Coronado Robles completed their high school education at Colegio Regis La Salle in 2006, where they studied Economics. Angel then attended Universidad de Sonora from 2007 to 2012, earning a Licenciatura en Derecho in International Law. Angel also attended Universidad Nacional de La Plata from 2010 to 2011, earning an Abogacia in Law. In 2016, they completed their MBA Direccion de Empresas in Business Administration and Management, General from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México. Additionally, they obtained a certification in English Business Communication from Western Town Collage.
