Angel Sanchez

Angel Sanchez is a DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in Cloud Computing, Automation, CI/CD, and Database Administration. From 2022 to present, they have been working at R2 as a DevOps Engineer, where they are responsible for planning, executing, and implementing Cloud Computing solutions in Amazon Web Services for the Fintech platform in all development, QA, stage, and Production environments. Angel also leads the team in integration and production projects, manages personnel, assigns and reviews tasks, operates and controls billing in AWS, and reports on costs.

From 2017 to 2022, Angel was a DevOps Engineer and CTO at Ninja Software Factory, C.A., where they were responsible for designing and implementing technologies in cloud platforms for Agile methodology and DevOps model in the development, deployment, and monitoring (CI/CD/CM) of apps, backends, and web apps developed in Android, iOS, PHP, Angular, Node.js, .NET, JavaScripts, and Java.

From 2009 to 2017, Angel was a DBA and Applications Analyst at PDVSA Petroleos de Venezuela S.A., where they implemented Agile methodologies with the installation and configuration of Gitlab server for repository management and continuous integration using Jenkins, Java, and JavaScripts in the software factory of the western region. Angel also administered, operated, and maintained PostgreSQL databases for new free solutions.

From 2006 to 2009, Angel worked as an Applications Technologist and Technician at Chevron, where they designed, developed, implemented, and maintained web apps, web services, Windows applications, and Windows services using VS.NET VB and C#, modeled and created database objects in T-SQL, PL/SQL, as well as HTML, Java, JavaScripts, Ajax, ASP, ADO.NET, and Shell script for crude and gas accounting and taxation, well maintenance, technology platform migration, and land and air transportation facilities.

Angel Sanchez obtained their Licenciado en Computación from Universidad del Zulia. Angel also holds an ITIL Foundation v3 certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice, which they obtained in June 2011.
