Plinio Helpa

Plinio Helpa is an experienced Frontend Architect currently working at R2 since August 2025. Previously, Plinio held the role of Senior Frontend Developer - Fintech at dLocal from October 2023 to October 2025, where significant contributions included migrating over 10 complex financial legacy PHP applications to a modern tech stack utilizing TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node. Prior to that, Plinio served as a Senior Frontend Developer at Blinket Tech from November 2022 to October 2023, successfully redesigning the user experience of a leading event hosting application in Brazil, resulting in over 95% user preference for the new design. From January 2019 to November 2022, Plinio was a Senior Frontend Developer at Eduzz, where the development of the Houston design system centralized the design identity across various products, alongside notable improvements to the development process as a Full Stack Developer by optimizing build tools. Plinio has been pursuing education at the University of Toronto since January 2013.
