Ricardo E.

Ricardo E. has held a number of roles in the technology industry since 1995. Ricardo began their career at Micrologica Innovation as an Engineer of Projects in 1995, then moved to Time Media S.A. as a Software Development Engineer in 1996. Ricardo returned to Micrologica Innovation in 1997 as a Software Development Engineer, where they were involved in the design and development of several software projects. In 1999, they joined ISI Emerging Markets as a Senior Systems Engineer, and was promoted to Lead Systems Engineer in 2001. In 2004, they were promoted again to Development Manager at the Global Development Center of ISI Emerging Markets Group, where they worked with technical managers, QA teams, and developers from around the world. In 2020, they joined BairesDev as an ETL Data Engineer, where they designed and implemented data pipelines on cloud environments. Most recently, in 2021, Ricardo joined R2 as a Principal Data Engineer and Senior Data Engineer, where they are responsible for designing and building a modern Data Platform using AWS services, implementing pipelines with Airflow and Python, and designing the Datawarehouse Architecture and Data models for Operational and Analytics databases.

Ricardo E. graduated from Universidad de Chile in 1995 with a degree in Ingeniero Civil Eléctrico, specializing in ingeniería eléctrica y electrónica. Ricardo began their studies at the university in 1988.
