Jay Saw has extensive work experience in various roles within the public transport and technology sectors. Jay began their career at Total Oil Marine, where they served as an Asset Manager for Joint Venture Management. Jay then worked as a Senior Business Analyst in the Group Strategic Planning department at PPP Healthcare. Later, Jay joined T-Mobile UK (formerly One2One) as a Strategy Manager before transitioning to the role of Manager for T-Mobile HotSpot, where they played a crucial role in developing and launching the strategic Wi-Fi offering in the UK.
In 2007, Jay joined Nomad Digital as Commercial Director, responsible for a range of commercial and business development activities. During their tenure, they also served as a Board Director and business mentor for Nomad Tech, a Portuguese joint venture. In 2018, Jay joined r2p Group as the Group Commercial & Legal Director, where they established a new Commercial & Legal function with a global remit, supporting business expansion, integration, and managing group legal activities.
In 2019, Jay transitioned to r2p UK as the Managing Director, overseeing the sale, provision, and support of connected intelligent solutions for the road and rail public transport industry, including real-time passenger information software, hardware products, and operational support. Throughout their career, Jay has demonstrated strategic vision, expertise in commercial and legal matters, and a passion for innovative technology solutions in the transport sector.
Jay Saw earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Civil Engineering from UWCC (Cardiff) from 1987 to 1991. Afterward, Jay pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Brighton Business School from 1991 to 1992.
