Richard Payne

Richard Payne has a strong work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Richard currently serves as the Head of Manufacturing and Supply Chain at Krucial, where they are responsible for delivering a scalable manufacturing and supply chain model. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Manufacturing at M Squared Lasers, leading the manufacturing and operations team and implementing new systems to increase productivity. Richard also worked as a Project Manager at Scottish Enterprise, managing low carbon and zero emissions innovation challenges. Additionally, Richard has experience at Spaceright Europe Limited, where they started as a Marketing Assistant and eventually became the Product Design and Development Manager. Richard began their career at Tesco as a Supervisor/Team Leader, where they improved leadership skills and achieved excellent standards.

Richard Payne attended Monifieth High School from 1999 to 2005, where they completed their school courses. In 2005, they enrolled at The Glasgow School of Art and the University of Glasgow, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree in Product Design Engineering. Their studies at both institutions lasted until 2009. In 2017, Richard began pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General at Strathclyde Business School, which they completed in 2020.
