Fanny Cavalie

Fanny Cavalie currently serves as a Venture Partner at RA Capital Management, having joined in July 2024. Previously, from April 2018 to July 2024, Fanny worked at Foghorn Therapeutics, Inc. as the Chief Strategy and Business Operations Officer, where responsibilities included corporate strategy, business development, and operations. Fanny held progressive roles at Foghorn as SVP and VP, focusing on strategy and operational leadership. Earlier experience includes a tenure at Biogen, where Fanny led global commercial development for the Alzheimer’s disease portfolio and managed the Multiple Sclerosis business strategy. Fanny's background also features a role as Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, leading pharmaceutical launch strategies, and earlier positions in finance and strategy at Lagardère, Morgan Stanley, and L'Oréal. Fanny earned an MBA from HEC Paris and attended Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management.
