Wenqing Xu

Wenqing Xu is a Scientist at Ra Pharmaceuticals since March 2019, specializing in the development of innovative solutions in the pharmaceutical field. Previously, Wenqing served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Boston University from March 2016 to January 2019, focusing on small molecule synthesis and macrocyclization method development. Prior experience includes a role as a Production Scientist at Bio-Synthesis Inc. from March 2015 to February 2016, where Wenqing synthesized oligonucleotides and conjugated oligonucleotides, and as a Research Assistant/Associate at the University of Colorado at Boulder from August 2008 to March 2015, working on complex molecular synthesis, methodology development, and chemical biology. Wenqing completed a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2014 and holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China, obtained in 2008.
