Stephanie Rap

Stephanie Rap is a seasoned professional in the fields of youth and criminal justice, currently serving as a Senior Advisor for the Raad voor Strafrechtstoepassing en Jeugdbescherming since February 2023. Prior to this role, Stephanie held an Assistant Professorship at the University of Amsterdam within the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences from August 2021 to July 2024. Stephanie's academic career includes significant positions at Leiden Law School as an Assistant Professor and Senior Researcher, where notable work involved managing the Children's Rights Monitor under the Dutch Ombudsman for Children.
