Luuk Keunen has extensive experience in historical geography and cultural heritage, currently serving as team leader of culture history at RAAP since September 2008, overseeing a team of historians and managing project execution. Previously, Luuk held positions as a senior project leader and project leader in historical geography and cultural heritage, advising various stakeholders on cultural heritage management. Luuk has contributed to local governance as a member of the Environment Quality Commission and the Cultural History Advisory Committee in the municipality of Winterswijk, as well as the Heritage Advisory Council in Zutphen. Additional roles include advisory positions in heritage commissions across several municipalities and board membership in the Stichting Netwerk Historisch Cultuurlandschap. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in biology with a focus on historical geography from Wageningen University & Research.
