Amber Tariq Javed

Amber Tariq Javed, MSW, has extensive experience in social work and community support, currently serving as a Volunteer and Student Support Representative at Rabata since December 2020. As the Founder and Storyteller at Little Muslims, Amber conducts storytelling sessions focusing on life skills and character building for young children. Additionally, Amber manages social media for Forks n Knives Pizza Kitchen. Previous roles include Conservatorship Case Specialist II and Adoption Prep Case Specialist II at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Lead Parent Educator at Escape Family Support Limited, Project Lead Facilitator at the Women's Resource of Greater Houston, and multiple internships facilitating social work services. Amber holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Houston and a Master's degree in Linguistics from Northeastern Illinois University.
