Alvin Monterroso

Alvin Monterroso, CPA, CA, currently serves as the VP Finance at Rabba Fine Foods since October 2024. Prior to this role, Alvin was the Director of Finance at Compass Group Canada from December 2021 to November 2024, where responsibilities included planning, budgeting, and financial performance analysis. Alvin's experience includes positions as Senior Manager in Corporate FP&A and Operations Finance at Walmart Canada, overseeing P&L forecasting and budgeting for 410 stores. Previously, Alvin was the Head of Finance for Canada at Armacell, managing finance and tax for multiple legal entities and improving financial results. From 2010 to 2018, Alvin held the position of Group Financial Controller at Magna International, leading financial teams and turnaround initiatives. Alvin began their career at Grant Thornton LLP as a Senior Manager, focusing on audit engagements across various sectors. Alvin earned a degree from Brock University between 1996 and 2000.
