Dana Wortman

Dana Wortman is an accomplished educator and leader in the fields of Game Design and Computer Science, currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Senior Instructor at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs since August 2009. As CEO of Rabid Troll Studios since June 2016, Dana leads a team of game developers in creating innovative gaming experiences. Previous roles include Department Chair for Game Art & Design, Web Design, and Visual and Game Programming at The Art Institutes, as well as faculty positions at the University of Maryland Baltimore County and Frostburg State University. Dana's early career featured internships at Microsoft, The Motley Fool, and GE Fanuc Automation Corp, alongside a notable stint as a NASA Faculty Fellow. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and both an MCS and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Virginia.
