Diego Ligtenberg

Diego Ligtenberg is a data scientist with experience in various roles, currently working at Rabobank since April 2024, focusing on rule development within the Data Science Transaction Monitoring team. Previously, Diego led an image classification project at EK Germany, utilizing a Zero-Shot Vision Transformer to classify over one million images across more than 1,100 labels. Experience also includes a position at Incore Solutions B.V. and an internship as a Machine Learning Engineer at Nationale-Nederlanden, where an end-to-end pipeline was created to detect forward-looking statements using the BERT transformer. Diego holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from Utrecht University and has completed a minor in Econometrics with a focus on Accounting and Computer Science at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
