Maikel van Zaanen

Maikel van Zaanen is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Dutch Brazilian Chamber of Commerce since June 2023, Maikel has been the CFO for South America and Brazil at Rabobank since September 2015, playing a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the region's operations in Corporate Investment Banking and Rural Banking. Previously, Maikel held various positions at PwC from 2007 to 2015, specializing in Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services with a focus on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Maikel's educational background includes participation in the Advanced Leadership Track at Harvard Business School Executive Education and a Master's degree in Accounting and Control from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
