Matthew Sammut is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in trade and commodity finance. Currently serving as Vice President at Rabobank since October 2019, Matthew previously held positions as Portfolio Manager for Leveraged Finance at APS Bank and Associate in Commodity & Energy Coverage at BNP Paribas. Early career roles include Analyst in Structured Trade & Commodity Finance at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, where due diligence and credit analysis on commodity trading companies were conducted. Educational achievements include an International MBA from IE Business School, a BBA in Finance with a Communications minor from Baruch College, and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from New York City College of Technology.
