Willem Boezen

Willem Boezen has accumulated extensive experience in the banking and finance sector, currently serving as Chairman of the North America Board and CEO of Rabobank North America since October 2012. Willem also holds positions as a member of the Investment Committee for Rabobank Investments and Chairman of Rabobank Investments’ Corporate Ventures investment committees. Previously, Willem was the Global Head of Wholesale Clients and Global Head of M&A at Rabobank, and prior to that, worked at RBS Global Banking & Markets as Managing Director overseeing M&A/ECM/DCM origination for Global Industrials. Earlier experience includes roles at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., where Willem was Senior Vice President and Managing Director of M&A, and an Assistant Vice President in Structured Finance in Hong Kong. Willem’s career began at Koninklijke Landmacht as a project member in reorganization. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in International Economics, Management & Organisation from the University of Groningen, an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management, and an executive education program at INSEAD.
