Nicole Herrera

Nicole Herrera is a Payroll Associate at Rachel Wixey & Associates. Nicole has over fifteen years of experience in the banking industry. Nicole started their career at Fifth Third Bank in February 2001 as an Expert Balancer. In this role, Nicole was responsible for researching and resolving all out-of-balance transactions that could not be resolved by normal balancing methods. Nicole also inserted advice of corrections as needed and coordinated advice distribution with Mail Operations. Nicole was also responsible for encoding Reprocessed Cashletters via the 7766 encoding machine and maintaining the Transaction Manager password. In addition to their primary duties, Nicole also received all inbound banking center/mart routes, logged receipt entries into the database, completed the branch discrepancy log as needed, and delivered work to document prep. Nicole also inspected P.O.D. batches for hardware (staples, paper clips) to ensure all work was in the appropriate order, inserted control documents as specified, and delivered work to image capture.

In July 2015, Nicole left Fifth Third Bank to join Rachel Wixey & Associates as a Payroll Associate. In this role, Nicole is responsible for processing payroll for clients, managing employee data, and resolving payroll issues. Nicole is also responsible for training new associates.
