Brett Ostwalt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple fields. Brett started their career as a Technician at Telcom Inc in 2010 and then worked as a Technician at East Coast Pyrotechnics in 2011. In 2012, they completed a technical internship at BAE Systems, where they gained experience in software design and relational databases. From 2014 to 2018, Brett worked at Scientific Research Corporation as a Systems Analyst, responsible for creating and maintaining software baselines and ensuring security for various projects. Brett then joined CSSI Inc as a Systems Administrator from 2018 to 2020. During this time, they focused on system administration tasks. From 2020 to 2021, Brett worked as a Linux Administrator at SpinSys, where they managed and secured RedHat Linux systems and orchestrated Kubernetes deployments. Currently, they are employed at Rackner as a DevOps Engineer, responsible for onboarding customers and deploying applications using various tools and technologies.

Brett Ostwalt received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the College of Charleston, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Brett has obtained several certifications. Brett became a Certified Kubernetes Administrator through the Cloud Native Computing Foundation in February of 2022, and they obtained the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA in November of 2014.
