Shashank Samant

Shashank Samant is the current Director at Rackspace. Shashank has also previously held the position of President at NESS Technologies, Inc. from March 2000 to July 2008. Prior to that, they were the Director, WW Professional Services at Hewlett-Packard from February 1998 to March 2000. Samant has also been a part of Mastech iGate as the Director & CM - Canadian Operations from October 1996 to February 1998. Shashank's career with IBM lasted from August 1992 to October 1996 where they were the Manager/Director - IBM Raleigh. Shashank was one among the top 20 founding engineers in IBM India and then part of IBM M&D and IBM NSD - Raleigh, NC. Samant started their career at Citicorp Overseas Software Ltd in July 1989 where they worked their way up to Manager - Banker/Finware ProductLine before leaving in August 1992.

Shashank Samant attended Savitribai Phule Pune University, Gokhale in Borivali, Mumbai, and Ruia College.
