Ufara Zuwasti M.D., Msc

Ufara Zuwasti, MD, MSc has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Ufara began their career at Budhi Jaya Mother and Child Hospital as a General Practitioner from 2011 to 2013. Ufara then worked as a Program Manager at the Office of President's Special Envoy To the President of the Republic of Indonesia on MDGs from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, they pursued their Masters in Global Health Science at the University of Oxford, specializing in various aspects of global health. Ufara joined the World Bank as an Immunization Public Health Consultant for a brief period in 2014. Following that, they worked as a Consultant at Broad Branch Associates and Abt Associates from 2014 to 2015. Ufara also served as a Health Program Officer at The National Team for Accelerating Poverty Reduction (TNP2K) from 2014 to 2015. Ufara then joined RAD-AID International as an Associate Director of Operations in 2018, where they later became the Director of RAD-AID Indonesia in 2019 and the Director of RAD-AID Medical Student Program in 2020. Ufara also worked as a Resident Physician in Radiology at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center from 2020. Additionally, they gained experience as an Internal Medicine Resident Physician at MedStar Harbor Hospital from 2019 to 2020. Ufara's work experience demonstrates their expertise in healthcare management, program coordination, and clinical practice.

Ufara Zuwasti, MD, MSc pursued their formal education with a focus on Medicine and Global Health. From 2004 to 2010, they attended the Faculty of Medicine at Universitas Indonesia, completing their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Oxford in 2013 and completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Global Health in 2014.
