Berber Piet

Berber Piet is a pulmonologist specialized in thoracic oncology at Radboudumc since June 2018 and a fellow in tumor immunology at the Radboud Institute for Molecular Life Sciences. Piet has been involved in various professional organizations, serving as a board member at NRS Science, a member of the CieOOM at the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Medische Oncologie, and a member of the beroepsbelangen committee at NVALT. Previous roles include chief editor for De Jonge Specialist from 2014 to April 2018 and several pulmonology residency positions across various institutions. Berber Piet earned a Master of Science and Medical Doctor degree from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, complemented by studies in art history.
