Joris Lemson is a highly experienced medical professional currently serving as the medical director of the pediatric intensive care unit at Radboudumc since 2009. With a career at Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre dating back to 1999 as an anesthesiologist and (pediatric) intensivist, Lemson has demonstrated extensive expertise in critical care. Between 2010 and 2018, Lemson held the position of chair of the section of cardiovascular dynamics at ESPNIC and contributed as an instructor and course director for the APLS course at Stichting spoedeisende hulp bij kinderen from 1999 to 2015. Additionally, Lemson served as a flight physician for the Helicopter Mobile Medical Team "Lifeliner 3" from 2001 to 2008. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Medicine from Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre obtained in 2011 and an MD from State University Utrecht completed in 1992.
