Steven Castelein

Steven Castelein is a Coordinating Bioinformatician at Radboudumc since January 2014, specializing in improving software for Next Generation Sequencing processes. Prior to this role, Steven worked as a Climbing Instructor at Koninklijke Nederlandse Klim- en Bergsportvereniging and held positions in Java development and technical engineering at Avisi and Everest BV, respectively. Early career experience includes student roles at Aia Software BV, GX Software, and Deloitte, focusing on developing regression test solutions and conducting a master's thesis on performance characteristics in synchronization technologies. Steven holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Radboud University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
