Professor Of IS And Chair Of Department Of Accounting, Finance And Information Systems at Radford University

Arthur Carter has extensive academic and industry experience, currently serving as a Professor of Information Systems and Chair of the Department of Accounting, Finance, and Information Systems at Radford University since August 2003. In addition to teaching, Arthur has held several leadership roles, including Director of the School of Computing and Information Sciences and Associate Dean of the College of Science and Technology. Arthur briefly served as Interim Dean from July 2021 to June 2022. Prior to academia, Arthur worked as a Distribution Manager at the Roanoke Times and as a Nuclear Shift Test Engineer at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Arthur holds a Ph.D. in Business Information Technology and an MBA in Business Management from Virginia Tech, as well as a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from Old Dominion University.
