Lucas Fontoura

Lucas Fontoura is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in flight control laws and unmanned aircraft systems. Currently serving as a Flight Control Laws Engineer at Radia, Inc., Lucas is involved in the development of flight control laws for the WindRunner project, a significant cargo aircraft. As a co-founder and UAS Flight Test Engineer at Certifica Drone, Lucas specializes in adapting and certifying unmanned aircraft systems to Brazilian standards. Previously, Lucas held the position of Head of Advanced Air Mobility and Drones at Helisul Aviação, focusing on business development for unmanned and electric aircraft. Prior experience also includes a tenure at Embraer, where Lucas contributed to flight control laws development for multiple fly-by-wire projects. Lucas began a career in flight testing with the Força Aérea Brasileira, completing a rigorous flight test engineering course. Lucas holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Aeronautics and Mechanics from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica.
