Desmond Adams

Desmond Adams has been working in the industry since 2013. Desmond began their career at CarSmart as a Mechanic, where they were responsible for evaluating automobiles against State of Maryland Inspection checklist and making required repairs. Desmond then worked as a Substitute Teacher for the Charles County Board of Education, where they were responsible for ensuring the safety of the students in the classroom. In 2015, they joined Revature as a Test Data Engineer, where they were contracted to Hexaware and was responsible for moving and loading large volumes of test data through many different databases used for critical testing of Freddie Mac applications. After two years, they moved to Cypress Creek Renewables as a Control Room Supervisor and Control Room Operator III. In 2022, they joined Radian Generation as a NERC Compliance Manager.

Desmond Adams obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from Bridgewater College between 2010 and 2014. In May 2020, they obtained a certification as a NERC Certified Transmission Operator from the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC).
