Walker Thames

Walker Thames is an R&D Electrical Engineer at Radiance Technologies since May 2022, with previous experience as an R&D Engineering Intern. Thames contributed to the development of an amphibious autonomous rover for PFAS/PFOA detection, focusing on programming and water sample extraction methods. Prior to this role, Thames served as an ECE Undergraduate Research Assistant at Mississippi State University, participating in various engineering projects. Earlier experience includes a Hardware Engineering Co-Op at Kopis Mobile, where Thames designed PCBs and utilized SolidWorks for modeling, as well as an Electrical Engineering Intern at ProcessWorx, LLC, where a Click PLC program was developed. Thames also has experience as a High Voltage Laboratory Assistant and as a Civil Engineering Intern. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering, expected in May 2024, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering completed in December 2022, both from Mississippi State University.
