Senior Image Processing Engineer at Radiant Vision Systems

Chris Sanby has a diverse work experience in the field of machine vision and quality control test equipment. Chris started their career as an Application Engineer at Integral Vision UK in 1995 and worked there until 2001. From 2001 to 2005, they served as a Director at Bronway Technology UK, where they developed and delivered multiple products for the optical disc and solar cell industries. Chris then founded Photon Vision Ltd. in 2005 and worked as the Managing Director, specializing in machine vision development, consultancy, and custom lighting solutions. In 2011, they founded E-Photon and served as the Managing Director, providing design, development, and support services for quality control test equipment, primarily focused on displays and solar cell inspection. From 2013 to 2016, Chris worked as a Senior Engineer at InterVision Global Ltd, where they integrated laser marking machines with machine vision inspection systems for various industries. Currently, they are working at Radiant Vision Systems as a Senior Image Processing Engineer, contributing to the development of accurate and repeatable light and color measurement systems for display and lighting manufacturers.

Chris Sanby completed their education in the field of physics and image processing. They earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics with Astrophysics from Queen Mary University of London, which they attended from 1988 to 1991. Afterward, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Image Processing from De Montfort University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995.

In addition to their formal education, Chris Sanby has also obtained several certifications related to interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence. They completed courses such as "Communicating with Empathy," "Developing Your Emotional Intelligence," "Giving and Receiving Feedback," "Improving Your Listening Skills," and "Interpersonal Communication" from LinkedIn during late 2020 and early 2021.
