Katie Gordham

Katie Gordham has a rich work experience spanning over 17 years. Katie started their career as an Event Manager/Coordinator for Chef Mickey's Catering in 2004, then went on to become an Administrative Assistant at DES MOINES PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT in 2006. Katie also worked as a Network Assistant at Iowa Public Radio in 2009, where they received training in state government accounting procedures. Katie was later employed as a Senior Administrative Assistant at Allied Insurance, where they managed inventory and budget. In 2014, they served as Lead Bartender/Waitstaff Trainer for Radial Cafe before becoming a General Manager at 49th State Brewing Co from 2016 to 2019. Katie then worked at Discovery Health MD in dual roles as a Procurement Manager and later as a Procurement and Logistics Program Manager. In 2022, they became a Staff Accountant at Novogradac & Company LLP and then moved to Radiant Vision Systems as a Cost Accountant in 2023. Katie Gordham has vast skills in inventory management, budgeting, logistics, procurement, and accounting.

Katie Gordham has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Washington State University, which they are expected to earn by 2023. From 2020 to 2021, they attended Jefferson Community College in Kentucky, where they earned an Associate of Arts in Accounting. Between 2001 and 2002, they attended the University of Iowa, where they studied music performance and accounting, but did not earn a degree. In addition to their academic endeavors, they are a Beta Alpha Psi Lifetime Member and has earned a Microsoft Excel 2019 Introductory certification.
