Gerard Andonian

Gerard Andonian is a board member at RadiaSoft and was previously the COO of NormForge, Inc. and the VP of Accelerator Technology at Tech-X Corporation. Gerard has been working in the field of accelerator technology for over 20 years and has made significant contributions to the development and use of parallel VORPAL framework to simulate laser-plasma accelerators. Gerard has also lead the adoption, development, implementation and/or use of multiple algorithms for first-principles simulation of electron cooling physics, including: 4th-order variable-time-step Hermite, semi-analytic binary Coulomb collisions, electrostatic delta-f PIC.

Gerard Andonian has a PhD in Astrophysical, Planetary & Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder. Gerard also has a BS in Physics and Astronomy from Carleton College.
