Luis Valdez

Luis Valdez has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Luis worked as a Senior Software Engineering Consultant at Radically Digital, where they performed team lead and fullstack developer roles for multiple clients. Luis was involved in implementing a CRM system architecture from scratch and emphasized building functional code with good testing practices.

Prior to that, Luis worked at focusbc - EMEA Google partner as a Fullstack Developer. Luis contributed to the development of a scalable enterprise real-time location intelligence platform by creating APIs and backend services that processed large amounts of data.

Before joining focusbc, Luis worked as a Fullstack/Integration Consultant at Border Innovation. In this role, they worked with large enterprise clients, building APIs and frontends in agile teams. Luis successfully implemented and deployed multiple Node.js applications.

At the start of their career, Luis worked as a freelance Web Developer, where they built small websites for companies in Portugal. Luis excelled in converting mockups into HTML, JavaScript, and CSS and monitored web pages and sites for continuous improvement. Luis also troubleshooted technical issues, optimized and repaired corporate WordPress based websites, and created eye-catching digital design concepts.

Luis Valdez attended the Polytechnic of Leiria from 2015 to 2018, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in "Node.js: The Complete Guide to Build RESTful APIs" from Udemy in January 2019 and "Docker Mastery: The Complete Toolset From a Docker Captain" from Udemy in December 2018.
