Andrew Janitschek

Andrew Janitschek has extensive work experience in various roles related to program management, communications, and public relations. Andrew​ started their career as a Senior Broadcast Journalist in the United States Air Force, where they received several accolades for their service. Following their military service, Andrew worked at Voice of America as the Director of English Radio News and later joined Radio Free Asia as the Director of Program & Operations Support. In these roles, they were responsible for corporate communications, marketing strategies, and public relations. Andrew also worked as a part-time Internet Manager & Broadcaster at IntelligenceCareers.com, where they co-hosted radio programs and webcasts about careers in the intelligence community. Andrew​ further gained experience as a Marketing Director at Town and Village, Inc., where they developed and implemented corporate marketing plans. In 2017, Andrew joined Entercom as a Part-Time Producer/Reporter, where they recorded and produced audio interviews with veterans and military guests, while also leveraging current trends in communication strategies. Their most recent role was as a Public Relations Specialist at WorldofMoney.org, where they worked from 2015 to 2021.

Andrew Janitschek holds an MBA from Strayer University, which they obtained from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 1990 to 1996. Additionally, they received an Associate of Arts degree in Public Affairs from the Community College of the Air Force between 1985 and 1987. In terms of certifications, Andrew obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services in 2018, a Remote Pilot Certificate/Commercial Drone License from the Federal Aviation Administration in 2017, and a CompTIA A+ Certification from CompTIA in 2010.
