Cherry Agarwal

Cherry Agarwal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in media, human rights, and education. Currently serving as Audience Lead at Radio Free Asia since May 2024, Cherry also holds the position of Regional Coordinator for the GAPMIL Youth Committee at UNESCO since June 2020, focusing on youth participation in media and information literacy. Previous roles include Social Media Lead at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and Senior Content Curator at Twitter, where Cherry enhanced digital presence and curated content experiences. A graduate intern at Minority Rights Group International and a delegate at the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations, Cherry has showcased expertise in media ethics and human rights reporting at Newslaundry as a Senior Reporter and Copy Editor.
