Reporting in 27 languages across 23 countries, RFE/RL is one of the most comprehensive news operations in the world,  providing accurate, uncensored news and open debate in countries where a free press is threatened and disinformation is pervasive.  Across RFE/RL’s broadcast markets, RFE/RL journalists give audiences what they can't always get from their own local media: uncensored, trusted news. Reporting via digital, television, and radio platforms, RFE/RL has a measured weekly reach of over 40 million people. A private nonprofit, RFE/RL is funded by the U.S. Congress through the U.S. Agency for Global Media. RFE/RL's editorial independence is protected by U.S. law.

The Engineering and Technical Operations team at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of the organization’s digital and broadcast infrastructure. The team manages network systems, implements cybersecurity measures, and develops innovative applications to support international news delivery. They work collaboratively to enhance RFE/RL's technical capabilities, enabling uninterrupted access to trusted news for audiences in regions with limited press freedoms.
